Weir Group plc announce an interim dividend of 17.9pence per share
An interim dividend of 17.9p has been declared by Weir Group Plc for 2024 (2023: 17.8p) in line with the capital allocation policy under which the Group intends to distribute 33% of earnings from continuing operations before adjusting items by way of dividend.
Weir Group plc announce a full year dividend of 38.6p
The Weir Group plc Board is recommending a final dividend of 20.8 pence per share. In line with their policy to pay out 33% of adjusted earnings per share (EPS), this equates to a total full year dividend of 38.6 pence per share and represents an increase of 18% on the prior year. The final dividend will be paid on 31 May 2024 to Shareholders on the register on 19 April 2024.

The current year dividend is in line with the capital allocation policy announced in Weir Group Plc's 2020 Annual Report and Financial Statements, under which the Group intends to distribute 33% of adjusted earnings by way of dividend. As a result, dividend cover in 2022 is 3.0 times.

Weir Group PLC announce interim dividend of 11.5 pence per share
With confidence in their strategy and future prospects, combined with their strengthened balance sheet, the Weir Group PLC Board has decided to resume dividend payments and has today announced an interim dividend of 11.5 pence per share, which is 33% of adjusted EPS for the period, in line with their capital allocation policy of returning a third of EPS through the cycle.
Weir Group announce a 2% increase in their total dividend for the year
The Weir Group Board is recommending a final dividend of 30.45p, resulting in a total dividend of 46.95p for the year, up 2% from 2018 reflecting confidence in the long term prospects of the Group. Dividend cover (being the ratio of earnings per share from continuing operations, before exceptional items and intangibles amortisation, to dividend per share) is 1.9 times. If approved at the Annual General Meeting on 28 April 2020, the final dividend will be paid on 5 June 2020 to shareholders on the register on 24 April 2020.
