The Genus Board is recommending a final dividend of 21.7 pence per ordinary share, consistent with the prior year final dividend. When combined with the interim dividend, this will result in an unchanged total dividend for the year of 32.0 pence per ordinary share (2023: 32.0 pence per share). Dividend cover from adjusted earnings decreased to 2.0 times (2023: 2.7 times).

Dividend cover from adjusted earnings of 2.6 times (2021: 3.2 times), is within the medium-term target of an adjusted earnings cover range of 2.5 to 3.0 times.

Dividend cover from adjusted earnings remains strong at 2.9 times (2019: 2.6 times) and is in line with their Board's intention to maintain a progressive dividend within a target adjusted earnings cover range of 2.5 - 3.0 times.
