In the U.S. retail market segments, the Company's products are sold to food retailers, food wholesalers, drug stores, club stores, mass merchandisers, discount and dollar stores, military commissaries, natural foods stores and distributors, and pet specialty stores. In International and Foodservice, the Company's products are distributed domestically and in foreign countries through retail channels and foodservice distributors and operators, such as restaurants, lodging, schools and universities, healthcare operators.

The Company's principal products are coffee, pet food, pet snacks, peanut butter, fruit spreads, shortening and oils, baking mixes and ready-to-spread frostings, frozen sandwiches, flour and baking ingredients, juices and beverages, and portion control products. The Company also offers mainstream roast and ground coffee, single serve coffee-K-Cup, Foodservice hot beverage, Foodservice portion control, Canada coffee and Canada flour. The Company's U.S. Retail Coffee segment offers brands, including Folgers, Dunkin' Donuts, and Cafe Bustelo. The Company's U.S. Retail Consumer Foods segment offers brands, such as Jif, Smucker's, Crisco, Pillsbury, and Uncrustables. Its U.S. Retail Pet Foods segment offers brands, such as Meow Mix, Milk-Bone, Natural Balance, Kibbles 'n Bits, 9Lives, Pup-Peroni, Nature's Recipe and Gravy Train. Its International and Foodservice segment offers brands, such as Folgers, Smucker's and Douwe Egberts.
