About Compass Group Plc
Compass was originally a part of Grand Metropolitan. It is now the world’s largest contract caterer operating in over 65 countries across the world. It also runs coffee shops, vending machines and bakery outlets. In 2006 the group sold its Select Service Partner travel catering unit, which included the Moto motorway service station chain. Compass Group has an excellent track record of year on year increases in it's dividend payments to shareholders. According to analysts forecasts, this is set to continue.

The Compass Board has approved an interim dividend of 20.7c per share representing an increase of 15.6% on the prior year's interim dividend.

The Compass PLC Board has approved an interim dividend of 9.4 pence per share to be payable in July 2022. The Group is also commencing a share buyback programme with up to £500m during this calendar year.

It has been proposed by the Compass Group PLC Board that a final dividend of 14.0 pence per share be paid on 28 February 2022 to shareholders on the register on 21 January 2022.
