About Nanoco Group Plc

Nanoco Group PLC is engaged in the research, development, licensing and manufacturing of cadmium-free quantum dots and other specific nanomaterials for use in various commercial applications. The Company’s platform technology is customized for any application, from sensing to display, and from horticultural lighting to medical applications. Its products include Cadmium Free Quantum Dots (CFQD), Heatwave Quantum Dots and Vivodots Nanoparticles. CFQD is its core technology, consisting of fluorescent semiconductor nanoparticles. The CFQD quantum dots avoid the use of toxic cadmium in display applications. The HEATWAVE quantum dots are designed for use in the sensor industry to extend the range of complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensors out into the near infrared (NIR) range of wavelengths. Quantum dots can also be tuned for use in a variety of different media with adjustment of the surface ligands, opening them up to several different form factors and applications.
