RPS Group plc announce an interim dividend of 0.45 pence per share
The RPS Board is proposing an interim dividend of 0.45p per ordinary share (H1 2021: 0.26p per ordinary share). This is in line with the dividend policy announced at the November 2021 Capital Markets Day. It will be paid on 11 October 2022 to shareholders on the register of members at the close of business on 16 September 2022.
RPS Group plc has declared a final dividend of 0.44 pence per share
The RPS Group plc Board has declared a final dividend of 0.44p per share (£1.2m) (2020: nil) which will be paid on 20 May 2022 to holders of ordinary shares on the Company's register of members at the close of business on 22 April 2022, subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting on 26 April 2022. This aligns with RPS Group's recently announced capital allocation policy and reflects the Board's desire to return to paying dividends to shareholders balanced with the need to retain capital in the business to capitalise on organic and acquisitive growth opportunities.
RPS announces a dividend reinstated with interim dividend of 0.26 pence per share proposed
In 2019, the RPS Board announced a dividend policy of a pay-out ratio of 40% of profit after tax before amortisation of intangibles and transaction-related costs and the tax thereon. To protect the Group's financial position at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board made the decision to cancel the final dividend in respect of FY 2019 and, due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and the uncertainty over timing of recovery of markets, withdrew their dividend policy. The Board recognises the importance of dividends and, given the markets they operate in are starting to recover, is proposing to resume a modest dividend for 2021 and will pay circa one third as an interim dividend. Management intends to hold a Capital Markets Day in early November and plans to set out its capital allocation policy in more detail then.
RPS Group announce a proposed final dividend of 2.00p, down from 5.08p
RPS Group have announced a proposed final dividend of 2.00p (FY 2018: 5.08p) providing full year dividend of 4.42p (FY 2018: 9.88p). This follows the rebasing of the dividend announced at H1 2019 and reflects the stated new, sustainable dividend policy of paying out 40% of adjusted earnings.
