The Board has proposed an unchanged final core dividend of 2.05 pence per share giving a full-year dividend of 3.00 pence per share. This represents pre-exceptional dividend cover of 1.34x, below their target core dividend cover range of 2.0-3.0x earnings. Given the Board's confidence in the Group's strategy and long-term prospects, plus their strong financial position, the Board considers an unchanged dividend payment is appropriate. The dividend record date is 18 October 2024, and the proposed payment date is 25 November 2024.

The Hays plc Board has declared an unchanged interim core dividend of 0.95 pence per share, reflecting a strong financial position and the Board's confidence in the Group's strategy. This represents pre-exceptional dividend cover of 2.5x, within our target core full year dividend cover range of 2.0 to 3.0x earnings. The Hays Board has declared an interim core dividend of 0.95p, in line with the prior year. The ex-dividend date is 2 March 2023, and the interim dividend payment date will be 11 April 2023. Their target core full year dividend cover range remains 2.0 to 3.0x earnings.
Hays plc propose a final dividend of 1.90p per share
The Hays Board has proposed a final dividend of 1.90p per share (2021: 1.22p). When added to the interim dividend of 0.95p paid in April 2022, the Group's total FY22 core dividend is 2.85 pence per share (2021:1.22p), representing dividend cover of 3.0x their underlying EPS of 8.55 pence per share, when adjusted for a normalised tax rate of 30% excluding their one-off FY22 tax benefits. The final dividend payment date will be 11 November 2022, and the ex-dividend date is 29 September 2022 (record date 30 September).

The Hays plc Board has declared an interim core dividend of 0.95p per share (2020: nil). The interim dividend payment date will be 8 April 2022, and the ex-dividend date is 3 March 2022 (record date 4 March). During the half, the Group paid £150 million of surplus cash via a special dividend in respect of FY21. The Board expects to pay a substantial special dividend in respect of FY22.
Hays PLC announce a final dividend of 1.22pence per share
A final dividend for 2021 of 1.22 pence per share (£20.5 million) will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting on 10 November 2021 by the Hays PLC Board. As previously guided, and as part of the Group's capital return strategy, the Group will also propose a special dividend of £150.0 million, the equivalent of 8.93 pence per share at the Annual General Meeting. Neither the final dividend nor the special dividend have been included as a liability. If approved, the final and special dividend will be paid on 12 November 2021 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 1 October 2021.

Hays plc Core dividends and capital return timetable: the Group's trading and cash generation have been considerably more resilient than our modelled scenarios at the time of their equity issuance. Accordingly, the Board intends to resume core dividends, with a single full-year payment based on 3x earnings cover, to be declared at their Prelims in August. Additionally, the Board has identified £150 million of surplus capital, which it intends to return to shareholders via special dividend, in two phases. Their expect to commence with a £100 million payment, declared at their FY21 Prelims.
Hays have announced an interim dividend which is flat at 1.11p, in line with their dividend policy
In line with their policy, the Board is maintaining the interim core dividend at 1.11p per share (2018: 1.11p). The interim dividend payment date will be 9 April 2020 and the ex-dividend date is 5 March 2020 (record date 6 March 2020).
