Auto Trader Group Plc announce an interim dividend declared of 3.5 pence per share
Auto Trader Group Board has declared an interim dividend of 3.5 pence per share. The interim dividend will be paid on 25 January 2025 to members on the register on 3 January 2025.
Auto Trader Group have proposed final dividend of 6.4 pence per share
The Auto Trader Group Plc Directors are recommending a final dividend of 6.4 pence per share. Subject to shareholders' approval at the Annual General Meeting ('AGM') on 19 September 2024, the final dividend will be paid on 27 September 2024 to shareholders on the register of members at the close of business on 30 August 2024. The total dividend for the year is therefore 9.6 pence per share (2023: 8.4 pence per share).

For H1 2024, the Board has declared an interim dividend of 3.2 pence per share. The interim dividend will be paid on 26 January 2024 to members on the register on 5 January 2024.
Auto Trader Group Plc announce a proposed final dividend of 5.6 pence per share
The proposed Auto Trader Group final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2023 of 5.6p per share, totalling £51.4m, is subject to approval by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting ('AGM') and hence has not been included as a liability in the financial statements.
Auto Trader Group Plc has declared an interim dividend of 2.8 pence per share
The final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2022 of 5.5 pence per share (H1 2022: 5.0 pence per share) was paid on 23 September 2022, totaling £51.7m (H1 2022: £48.0m). The Auto Trader Group Board continued its share-buyback programme with a total of 4.9m shares repurchased in the period (H1 2021: 15.8m shares). The average price per share was 619.5p (H1 2022: 636.1p) for a total consideration of £30.6m (H1 2022: £100.4m) before transaction costs of £0.2m (H1 2022 £0.5m).
Auto Trader Group interim dividend declared of 2.7p
Auto Trader Group have announced an interim dividend of 2.7p per share for the six months to September 2021 (September 2020: nil) has been declared by the Directors', totaling £25.7m (September 2020: £nil) based on the number of shares eligible for the distribution as at 30 September 2021. The interim dividend is payable on 28 January 2022 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 7 January 2022. No provision has been made for the interim dividend and there are no income tax consequences.
The Auto Trader Group proposes a final dividend of 5.0 pence per share
The Auto Trader Group Board has decided to reinstate its capital allocation policy and proposes a final dividend of 5.0 pence per share (2020: no final dividend declared), which is also the total dividend for the full year (2020: 2.4 pence per share). Their capital policy remains broadly unchanged: to continue to invest in the business enabling it to grow while paying around one third of net income to shareholders in the form of dividends. They aim to return the remaining surplus cash to shareholders through share buy backs, which will recommence shortly.
Auto Trader announce an interim dividend of 2.4 pence per share
The final dividend for the year ended 31 March 2019 of 4.6 pence per share (H1 2019: 4.0 pence) was paid on 27 September 2019, totaling £42.6m (H1 2019: £37.9m). During the period, a total of 5.1 million shares (H1 2019: 9.6 million) were repurchased for a total consideration of £27.2m (H1 2019: £42.9m) before transaction costs of £0.1m (H1 2019: £0.2m). This decrease in the number of shares repurchased in the period was largely due to a reduction in the level of surplus cash available. Total cash returned to shareholders in the period was £69.8m (H1 2019: £80.8m).
