Central Asia Metals proposed a final 2023 dividend of 9 pence per Ordinary Share. This brings total dividends (proposed and declared) for the year to 18 pence (2022: 20 pence) which represents 69% of free cash flow. The final dividend is payable on 22 May 2024 to shareholders registered on 26 April 2024.

Central Asia Metals Plc declare an interim dividend of 9 pence per ordinary share. This represents 82% of their $24.1 million adjusted FCF. FCF has been adjusted to more reasonably apportion H1 2023 withholding tax payments over the full year. This dividend will be paid on 20 October 2023 to shareholders registered on 29 September 2023.

In conjunction with CAML's H1 2021 results, the Central Asia Metals PLC Board has declared an interim dividend for the period of 8 pence per Ordinary Share which represents 40% of free cash flow in line with this policy. This demonstrates a positive start to 2021, particularly in terms of commodity prices. This latest dividend will increase the amount returned to shareholders in dividends and share buy-backs since the 2010 IPO to $229.0 million.
Central Asia Metals have declared a final dividend of 8pence per share
The Central Asia Metals Company's dividend policy is to return to shareholders a target range of between 30% and 50% of free cash flow, defined as net cash generated from operating activities less sustaining capital expenditure. The dividends will only be paid provided there is sufficient cash remaining in the Group to meet the ongoing contractual debt repayments and that banking covenants are not breached.
