Founded by three of the UK’s largest estate agency chains – Halifax, Countrywide & Connells – Rightmove is a property internet portal. Over half of all UK estate agents advertise their properties on the website, enabling users to see homes for sale or for letting all over the UK. The company floated with plans to specialise in producing Home Information Packs but this has since been dropped after a government u-turn on the idea.

Rightmove plc announces an interim dividend up 3% to 3.7p per ordinary share
After the period end the Rightmove Plc Board approved an interim dividend of 3.7p (2023: 3.6p) per qualifying ordinary share being £28,700,000 (2023: £29,084,000).
Rightmove Plc announce a final dividend for 2023 up 10% to 5.7p
Rightmove plc is recommending a final dividend of 5.7p per share for 2023 (2022: 5.2p). The final dividend will be paid, subject to shareholder approval, on 24 May 2024, taking the total dividend for the year to 9.3p (2022: 8.5p).

Rightmove PLC are rcommending a final dividend of 5.2p per share for 2022 (2021: 4.8p). The final dividend will be paid, subject to shareholder approval, on 26 May 2023, taking the total dividend for the year to 8.5p, an increase of 9% on 2021 (2021: 7.8p).

The Rightmove PLC Directors are recommending an interim dividend of 3.3p per ordinary share, which will be paid on 28 October 2022 to all shareholders on the register at 30 September 2022.

Consistent with the policy of growing dividends in line with the increase in Underlying EPS, the Rightmove PLC Directors are recommending an interim dividend of [3.0p] per ordinary share, which will be paid on 29 October 2021 to all shareholders on the register at 1 October 2021.

The Rightmove Board is confident in their ability to deliver sustainable returns to shareholders and is recommending a final dividend of 4.5p per share for 2020 (2019: 4.4p cancelled). The final dividend will be paid, subject to shareholder approval, on 28 May 2021. The Board has also approved the resumption of our share buyback programme in March 2021, confirming the resilience of the Rightmove business model and a commitment to returning free cash to shareholders.
