Rotork announce a final dividend of 4.65pence per share
The Rotork Board is recommending a final dividend of 4.65p per share. With the 2023 interim dividend of 2.55p, the total dividend for the year is 7.20p, a 7.5% increase on the 2022 full-year dividend. This equals 2.0 times cover based on adjusted earnings per share (2022: 1.9 times). The final dividend will be payable on 24 May 2024 to shareholders on the register on 19 April 2024. The last date to elect for the Dividend Reinvestment Plan ('DRIP') is 3 May 2024.

The Rotork PLC Board recommends a full year dividend of 6.3p per share for 2020, an increase of 1.6% from the 2019 full year dividend. This is equivalent to 2.0 times cover based on adjusted earnings per share (2019: 2.1 times). The full year dividend will be payable on 21 May 2021 to shareholders on the register on 9 April 2021.
Rotork plc reinstate interim dividend
Citing the unprecedented level of uncertainty surrounding COVID19, on 31 March Rotork withdrew their forward guidance for the current year. They retain this position as considerable uncertainty remains, and therefore they are not announcing a dividend in respect of this period today. They are however announcing that they will be paying the previously deferred 2019 final dividend of 3.9p per share. They will consider the dividend payable in respect of the whole of 2020 at the end of the year, and pay this in May 2021.

With the 2019 interim dividend of 2.3p, the total dividend for the year is 6.2p (2018: 5.9p), a 5.1% increase on 2018. This is equivalent to 2.1 times cover based on adjusted earnings per share (2018: 2.1 times). The final dividend will be payable on 22nd May 2020 to shareholders on the register on 14th April 2020.
