Pennon announce an interim dividend maintained at 1.2 pence per share
The Pennon Group Board has recommended a final dividend of 30.33 pence per share for the year ended 31 March 2024. Together with the interim dividend of 14.04 pence per share paid on 5 April 2024 this gives a total dividend for the year of 44.37 pence. This represents an increase of 3.84% on 2022/23 which is per their policy (March 2024 CPIH + 2%) with a 1.96% reduction for the £2.4 million fine from the Environment Agency. Pennon offers shareholders the opportunity to invest their dividend in a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP).

The Pennon Group Board has declared an interim dividend of 14.04 pence, representing an increase of 8.3% on H1 2022/23 (H1 2022/23 interim dividend of 12.96 pence). The Pennon Group Board has recommended a final dividend of 29.77 pence per share for the year ended 31 March 2023. Together with the interim dividend of 12.96 pence per share paid on 5 April 2023 this gives a total dividend for the year of 42.73 pence. This represents an increase of 10.9% (March 2023 CPIH + 2%) on 2021/22. Pennon offers shareholders the opportunity to invest their dividend in a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP).

The Pennon Group Board has declared an interim dividend of 11.70 pence, representing an increase of 4.9% on the adjusted base for H1 2020/21. The interim dividend will be paid on 5 April 2022 to shareholders on the register on 28 January 2022. Pennon GP
The Pennon Group Board has evaluated the Group's dividend for H1 2020/21 in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and has concluded that it is appropriate for Pennon to continue to deliver on its dividend commitment. The Group has significant cash and liquidity of c.£3.5 billion, has not received any Government support measures and has delivered on its WaterShare+ commitment, sharing £20 million of outperformance with customers. c.60% of Pennon's shareholders are UK based pension funds, charities, employees, customers and other retail holders who rely on this income. In addition, one in 16 household customers opted to become Pennon shareholders through WaterShare+, marking significant customer ownership for a listed utility and more than tripling the number of Pennon shareholders.

For H1 2019/20, the Board has declared an interim dividend of 13.66p, an increase of 6.4%. The interim dividend will be paid on 3 April 2020 to shareholders on the register on 24 January 2020.
