M.P Evans announce a 20% increase in interim dividend per share to 15p
The M.P. Evans Group board is recommending an interim dividend for 2024 of 15p per share (2023 - 12.5p per share), an increase of 20%. This reflects the improved results for the first half of the year, with earnings per share up by 81%, but also the board's continuing confidence in the long-term prospects for the Group.
M.P. Evans Group PLC announced dividend for the year 45p per share with proposed final dividend of 32.5p per share
M.P. Evans Group PLC announced a dividend for FY23 of 45p per share (2022 - 42.5p per share) with a proposed final dividend of 32.5p per share (2022 - 30p per share). An interim dividend of 12.5p per share (2022 - 12.5p per share) was paid on 3 November 2023 and the firm recommended a final dividend of 32.5p per share (2022 - 30p per share). The total figure of 45p per share represents, once again, an increase in the normal, annual dividend payable to shareholders and continues the Group's unbroken track record, which can be traced back for more than thirty years, of maintaining or increasing normal dividends. The ex-dividend date will be 25 April 2024, the record date 26 April 2024, and the dividend payable on or after 19 June 2024.

The M.P Evans Group paid a 5p per share special dividend in February 2022. This was in respect of the sale of the Bertam Estate land to the Group's associated company Bertam Properties Sdn Bhd, which completed in October 2021. Given the high yields and extraction rates achieved by the Group, and the continuing strong cash generation, the board is proposing an increase in the interim dividend to 12.5p per share (2021 - 10p per share).
