Greggs announce a final dividend of 46.0p per share
The Greggs Board intends to recommend at the AGM a final dividend of 46.0 pence per share (2022: 44.0 pence per share), giving a total ordinary dividend for the year of 62.0 pence per share (2022: 59.0 pence per share).
Greggs announce an interim dividend of 16 pence per share declared, an increase of 6.7%
The Greggs plc Board has declared an interim dividend of 16.0 pence per share (2022: 15.0 pence), consistent with the first-half increase in earnings per share. The overall ordinary dividend for the year will be proposed in line with their progressive dividend policy, which targets a full year ordinary dividend that is around two times covered by underlying earnings.

At the time of the interim results in August 2022 the Board declared an interim ordinary dividend of 15.0 pence per share (2021: 15.0 pence). In line with their progressive ordinary dividend policy and their target for the ordinary dividend to be twice covered by earnings, the Board intends to recommend at the AGM a final dividend of 44.0 pence per share (2021: 42.0 pence), giving a total ordinary dividend for the year of 59.0 pence (2021: 57.0 pence)

Greggs announce an interim dividend of 15.0pence per share
Greggs last paid a dividend in October 2019, after which the planned final dividend for 2019 was cancelled in order to preserve cash in the early months of the pandemic. Whilst there are still significant uncertainties in the months ahead, they now have a strong cash position and additional financing facilities to draw on if required.
Greggs announce total ordinary dividend per share up 25.8% to 44.9p
The Greggs dividend policy targets a progressive ordinary dividend, normally two times covered by earnings, with further surplus cash being returned to shareholders as appropriate. This was the case in 2019 when we were able to return £35.5 million of surplus cash by way of a special dividend.
