ThyssenKrupp is a German-based multinational, employing 170,000 in 80 countries.In fiscal year 2010/2011 ThyssenKrupp generated sales of EUR49 billion.
They are one of the world's largest steel producers as well as supplying the automotive and industrial industry with components and systems.
They have 2 main divisions: materials and technologies. The former producing steel and material services with teh latter focussing on plant and component technology, elevators and marine systems.
