On 8 March 2023, the Directors agreed a recommendation to shareholders of a final dividend of 20.7 pence per share on Aviva ordinary shares. Subject to shareholder approval at the 2023 Annual General Meeting and the condition below, the final dividend for the year ending 31 December 2022 will be paid on 18 May 2023 to shareholders on the Register of Members at the close of business on the record date of 31 March 2023. Holders of Aviva American Depository Receipts will be paid the dividend approximately four business days after the payment to ordinary shareholders. The last election date for the Dividend Reinvestment Plan is 25 April 2023. The dividend is conditional upon the Directors not having determined (at their discretion) to cancel the dividend at any point prior to its payment.
