BHP Group Ltd, formerly BHP Billiton Ltd, is a global resources company. The Company is a producer of various commodities, including iron ore, metallurgical coal, copper and uranium. Its segments include Petroleum, Copper, Iron Ore and Coal. The Petroleum segment is engaged in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas. The Copper segment is engaged in mining of copper, silver, lead, zinc, molybdenum, uranium and gold. The Iron Ore segment is engaged in mining of iron ore. The Coal segment is engaged in mining of metallurgical coal and thermal (energy) coal. Its businesses include Minerals Australia, Minerals Americas, Petroleum and Marketing. BHP Shareholders to Receive Enhanced Final Dividend of US$0.80 Per Share, Surpassing Minimum Payout Policy BHP announced a final dividend of US$0.80 per share (US$4.1 bn), equivalent to a 59% payout ratio and inclusive of an additional amount of US$0.64 bn above the minimum 50% payout policy. This brings total cash dividends announced for FY23 to US$1.70 per share, including an additional amount of US$1.9 bn above the minimum payout policy, and making this the third largest full year ordinary dividend declared by the firm.

BHP Group Limited announce an interim dividend of 90 US cents per share The BHP Group Limited Board has determined to pay an interim dividend of 90 US cents per share or US$4.6 billion, including an additional amount of US$1.3 billion above the minimum payout policy. This is equivalent to a 69 per cent payout ratio (31 December 2021: 78 per cent).
