Tyman Plc announce a final dividend of 9.5 pence per share (2022: 9.5 pence), equivalent to £18.5 million based on the shares in issue as at 31 December 2023, will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting (2022: £18.4 million). The total dividend declared for the 2023 financial year is therefore 13.7 pence per share (2022: 13.7 pence). This equates to a Dividend Cover of 2.2x, within the Group's target range of 2.0x to 2.5x adjusted EPS.
The ex-dividend date will be 25 April 2024 and the final dividend will be paid on 29 May 2024 to shareholders on the register at 26 April 2024.
Only dividends paid in the year have been charged against equity in the 2023 financial statements. Dividend payments of £26.6 million were paid to shareholders during 2023 (2022: £25.4 million).
