Lancashire Holdings Limited eclared an interim dividend of $0.05 (approximately £0.04) per common share, which will result in an aggregate payment of approximately $11.9 million. The dividend will be paid in Pounds Sterling on 15 September 2023 (the “Dividend Payment Date”) to shareholders of record on 18 August 2023 (the “Record Date”) using the £ / $ spot market exchange rate at 12 noon London time on the Record Date.
Other financial highlights include:
• Gross premiums written increased by 26.2% to $1,184 million, insurance revenue of $720.9 million.
• Insurance service result $188.8 million; profit after tax $159.2 million.
• Discounted combined ratio 71.4%, undiscounted combined ratio 79.2%.
• Total net investment return of 2.2%.
